Keep a product with a stable identity and a known version
Published version
Every release has a number such as 1.0.0 and a note describing the changes. A new version starts private and appears in the catalogue and manifest once published.
Automatic version checks
The rasa-sync client reads the version number from the manifest. With --watch it checks again every hour. A new package is saved to a separate file and never overwrites your own changes.
Current scope
Version checks and automatic download of free packages are active. Paid downloads stay closed until the payment gateway is connected and purchase entitlement is in place. Applying changes and running files remains your decision.
